Greening Taupō Day 2024

Kids Greening Taupō and Greening Taupō put on another amazing day for the Taupō community and beyond.

There were many schools, ECE centres, businesses, environmental organisations community groups and individuals who came together for Greening Taupō Day, which has now become a festival of environmental education for the Central North Island.

They had over 120 volunteers running activities for the children and over 2000 people came to plant a tree and enjoy the activities.

As a parent organisation to Kids Greening Taupō and Greening Taupō, Project Tongariro was there with bells on!
